Who We Are
A dedicated team committed to senior safety and independent living
Our Story
clever-osprey began in 2009 when our founder, after watching her own grandmother struggle with mobility challenges, recognised a gap in the market for compassionate, practical senior safety services.
What started as a small consultancy in Manchester has grown into a nationwide service provider. Throughout this growth, we have maintained our founding principle: treating every client with the same care and attention we would give our own family members.
Today, our team includes certified home assessors, installation specialists, and customer care professionals who share a genuine passion for improving the lives of older adults and their families.
Our Values
These principles guide every interaction and decision we make.
Respect and Dignity
We believe every older adult deserves to be treated with respect. Our approach always preserves independence while addressing genuine safety needs.
Honesty and Transparency
We provide clear recommendations based on actual needs, not sales targets. Our assessors will tell you what is necessary and what can wait.
Excellence in Service
From the first phone call to ongoing support, we strive for excellence. Our team receives continuous training to stay current with best practices.
Family Focus
We involve family members in conversations and decisions because safety at home affects everyone who cares about the person living there.
Our Approach to Safety
We do not believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Each home presents unique challenges, and each person has individual preferences and capabilities that must be considered.
Our assessment process begins with listening. We want to understand daily routines, existing concerns, and future goals before making any recommendations. This conversation often reveals simple adjustments that can make a meaningful difference without major disruption.
When modifications are needed, we explain options clearly, discuss costs upfront, and never pressure anyone into immediate decisions. Families deserve time to consider their choices and ask questions.
Working With Healthcare Providers
We collaborate closely with occupational therapists, district nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals who refer clients to our services.
These partnerships ensure that our recommendations align with broader care plans and medical requirements. When a healthcare provider identifies safety concerns during a home visit, we can often respond quickly to address immediate risks.
Our assessors hold relevant certifications and maintain professional development through industry organisations. We understand the language and priorities of healthcare settings, which makes coordination smoother for everyone involved.
