Personal Alarm Systems
Our personal alarms provide round-the-clock protection for older adults living independently. Worn as a pendant or wristband, these devices connect instantly to our UK-based monitoring centre at the press of a button.
When activated, trained operators assess the situation and dispatch appropriate help, whether that means contacting family members, neighbours, or emergency services. Many clients tell us the device has given them confidence to continue activities they might otherwise have avoided.
The system includes a base unit that plugs into a standard phone line or works over mobile networks. Installation takes approximately 30 minutes and includes full training on how to use the device.
Monthly monitoring: £18.50 | Annual plan: £195.00
Request This ServiceHome Safety Assessment
Our comprehensive home assessment identifies potential hazards and recommends practical improvements. A qualified assessor visits your property, examining each room for trip hazards, inadequate lighting, accessibility issues, and other common concerns.
The assessment typically takes 60 to 90 minutes and includes conversation with the resident about their daily routines and any existing difficulties. We look at factors like floor surfaces, furniture placement, bathroom facilities, stairway conditions, and electrical arrangements.
Within five working days, you receive a detailed report outlining our findings and recommendations. The report prioritises issues by urgency and includes estimated costs for any suggested modifications, allowing families to plan and budget appropriately.
Follow-up visit (within 3 months): £45.00
Book AssessmentBathroom Modifications
Bathrooms present some of the highest risks for falls among older adults. Our modification services address these dangers through professional installation of safety features that blend function with aesthetics.
Common installations include grab rails positioned strategically near toilets and in shower areas, non-slip flooring or mats, raised toilet seats, shower seats or benches, and walk-in shower conversions. Each modification is tailored to the individual's mobility level and bathroom layout.
Our installers work efficiently to minimise disruption, typically completing standard installations within one day. All work meets relevant building regulations and includes a two-year workmanship guarantee.

Get QuoteLighting and Visibility Solutions
Poor lighting contributes significantly to fall risk, particularly during nighttime trips to the bathroom or kitchen. Our lighting solutions improve visibility throughout the home without creating harsh or uncomfortable environments.
We install motion-activated lights in hallways, stairs, and key areas that illuminate automatically when someone approaches. Pathway lighting guides residents safely through dark corridors, while contrast strips highlight step edges and potential obstacles.
For those with visual impairments, we offer specialised solutions including magnification aids, large-print labels, and colour-coded systems that make daily tasks easier and safer to manage independently.

Enquire NowStair Safety Improvements
Stairs remain one of the most hazardous areas in any home, particularly for those with reduced mobility or balance concerns. Our stair safety services address these risks through careful assessment and targeted modifications.
We install additional handrails where needed, ensuring continuous support along the full length of the staircase. High-visibility nosings make each step edge clearly visible, while secure carpet fittings eliminate trip hazards from loose coverings.
For homes where stairs have become too challenging, we can advise on stairlift options or discuss ground-floor living arrangements as alternatives to structural changes.
Additional handrail: £145 | Nosing strips: £12 per step
Request ConsultationActivity Monitoring Systems
Our passive monitoring systems provide reassurance without requiring the resident to actively trigger alerts. Discrete sensors placed throughout the home learn normal activity patterns and notify designated contacts if something seems unusual.
The system can detect extended periods of inactivity, doors left open overnight, or movement at unexpected times. Alerts are sent via app notifications, text messages, or automated phone calls depending on your preferences.
Unlike camera systems, activity monitors preserve privacy while still providing valuable oversight. Many families find this approach strikes the right balance between independence and security.
Monthly service: £24.50 | Additional sensors: £45 each
